Privacy Overview
Clear data handling matters more than vague reassurance.
PepStack is built for calculators, protocol tracking, and research organization. This page summarizes what stays local, what can sync to an account, and where third-party services are involved.
Calculator inputs
PepStack's calculation tools run in the browser. Routine calculator inputs are processed client-side so you can use the public tools without creating an account.
Tracker storage
Protocol, dose log, inventory, and progress records start in local browser storage. If you stay signed out, the tracker works locally on that device.
Optional account sync
If you sign in, PepStack can sync tracker records to your account so you can keep working across devices. The app uses Supabase for authentication and data storage for these account-backed features.
Import and export
The tracker includes CSV import and export so you can move existing spreadsheet data in, then move your protocol history back out when you need it.
Analytics and reliability
PepStack uses product analytics and error tracking to understand which pages get used, which flows convert, and when the app throws an exception. That data helps improve the product and catch failures faster.
Payments
If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing runs through Stripe. Payment details are not stored directly on PepStack's servers.
Practical takeaways
- You can use calculators without an account.
- The tracker starts as a browser-first tool and only syncs when you sign in.
- CSV import and export remain part of the workflow so your data is portable.
- PepStack is an informational and organizational tool, not a medical provider.
